What's in My Travel Makeup Bag

This weekend my mom, sister, sister-in-law, and I are all going to Chicago on a shopping trip, woo hoo!! Although we will be doing a lot of hard work (spending money and eating) I still want to look and feel great while in the windy city. Here is what I am bringing along with me and what I usually bring when I do any kind of long distant traveling!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer
(longest concealer name of all time)
I love this stuff for under my eyes. It's super easy to apply with the sponge tip applicator and it blends really well. It stays put all day long and has instant color correction. I don't think there is any other drugstore concealer I've used under my eyes that I have loved as much.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
GUYS, this stuff is the best concealer ever. It doesn't get cakey, it blends like a dreaaaam, and it is an absolute dupe for the much-praised Nars creamy concealer. Maybelline concealer for the WIN!

L'Oreal Lineaur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner
I started using this after my mark liquid eyeliner ran out and it was the closest thing I could find at the drugstore. To be honest, it is kind of hard to work with, but it line also looks super black and amazing. I use it to line the top of my lashes almost every day.

bareMineral Original Foundation
I just had an entire post dedicated this foundation, so there is not much more I can say.. BUT I will say again that it's amazing, makes me skin look flawless, doesn't break me out, etc. Also super great if you're carrying on too, since it's not a liquid.

L'Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara
I just started using this so I'm not 100% sure what I think, but I do think it makes my eyes look REALLY open. Not much of a dramatic look, but if it makes me look more awake all day, I can't hate.

MAC Fix +
Truth time: I'm a dork and I carry this on the plane with me to spray before and after flights. There, I said it. It's super refreshing and moisturizing for the skin. If you're using mineral makeup, it diffuses any cakiness. If you want to amp up the pigment, spray some of this on your shadow brush and your shadow will look amazing. This thing can do so much, but to be honest.. I'm using it on the plane. Don't judge.

Nars Blush in Super Orgasm
This color of blush as been described as the most flattering for all different skin types. I can't say I disagree!! I love this blush soooo much. When I got it I went with the "Super" version, which I regret a little bit due to the big pieces of gold glitter, but any time I'm not in a serious or professional environment I have no fear in using this. I'm 23, that's not too old for facial glitter, right? Whether it is or not, I'm using this til it runs out because I LOVE it.

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
THIS SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE. Now that I got that out of the way, it also is a beautiful bronze color. It's matte so it's perfect for contouring, or all over color. Plus the basis is cocoa powder so it's natural and won't break you out (and it smells like chocolate!!) If it's a bit too dark for your skin, they also make a light version called Milk Chocolate Soleil

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade
All hail the eyebrow product of the century!!! This stuff colors in your brows in the most natural way and sets them so they don't get scraggely throughout the day. I used to use the Anastasia Brow Wiz Pencil until I read an article about how the pomade is more of a bang for your buck! I went through a brow wiz pencil in about 5 months. I've had the pomade for about 5 months and have hardly made a dent so it is for real. PS the Kardashians wore this on their brows at Kim's wedding, Truth.

Urban Decay's Naked Basics Palette
This is my little trusty eyeshadow friend. You can wear light looks, you can wear dramatic smoky eyes, all from this matte, travel-friendly palette. Although there are (only?) 6 shades, it's just so freaking versatile, I can't even tell you how often I use this thing.

I got this amazing travel bag at Vera Bradley. If you travel a lot, like I do, it is wonderful! I couldn't find a link on the website but there are several in stores.

What are your travel beauty essentials?

xx Mollie
