Lazy Makeup Days

November 5, 2014
I love getting ready. It's one of my favorite things to do. I love putting on a playlist or a show and deciding what blush to wear or what eye shadow look to go for, but some days (usually Mondays and weekend.. days?) I like to just take it super easy.

BB Cream
BB cream is one of the EASIEST products to use when I'm keeping it real (AKA leaving the house and don't want to scare anyone). I know, I hate all the BB cream hype, as well as CC, EE, or whatever the heck they are dreaming up these days, but all of that aside, this is seriously the best way to do a bunch of good things for your face in least amount of steps. The one I am a big fan of right now is the Pond's Luminous Finish BB+. It's sheer, but covers enough of my facial sins to make me feel a-okay. It evens out my face, covers my blemishes, and it has a really nice finish.. kind of powdery, yet luminous.

I don't know how my high school self did it, but I never filled in my eyebrows in high school. A lot has changed, because I told my friend Sally the other day, "If I'm leaving the house with nothing else on my face, I am still filling in my eyebrows." And that's the truth.
I like to use my handy dandy Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade to fill my brows in because it's quick and it looks natural.

Girl, do I even have to explain this? Since this is me being lazy, I'll use the same tube under the eyes and on anything peeking through the BB cream. My favorite, forever and always, is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer.

Bronzer ( or blush )
I like to use bronzer on days like this, just so my face isn't all one color. I usually just put a little bit on my forehead, my cheekbones, my nose, and chin so it looks natural, like the sun just kissed me there (LOL to what I just said). If you're more of a blush person, than go for it. Personally I just think bronzer looks a bit more natural. I've been loving bareMinerals in the high dive.

Because I cannot LIVE my life without mascara. You know the drill, open that tube and put a coat on the top and bottom lashes. I think the best natural looking mascara that still looks amazing is Maybelline's Full and Soft.

Bonus: Eyeshadow base
If I want it to look like I'm trying harder than I am, I will sometimes use a colored eye shadow base like Milani Shadow Eyes in Champagne Toast, or the beloved Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze all over my lid.

Voila! You look like you tried without trying :)

What are your favorite lazy-day products?

xx Mollie
