Special Everyday Holiday Touches

The holidays are approaching! For me, this is one of the most exciting times of the year, as I am a Christmas fanatic!!
Since the holidays can get unbelievably spendy with all of the gifts and parties, I thought of some inexpensive items to incorporate into your every day activities to make the holiday time just feel a little bit more special :)

Chapstick in Candy Cane
$1.79

This lip balm is amazing! Not only does it smell and taste minty & sweet (like a candy cane.. hello!), but it also has that menthol-tingle, which I really appreciate during the winter, when my lips tend to feel especially raw and dry.

Pumpkin Pie Spice
$4-$7 (varies from store and size)

Pumpkin pie spice is obviously a large staple during the holidays for baking, but have you ever tried mixing some in with your morning coffee or tea? Just put a couple dashes in, mix it in, and you have a pumpkin flavored start to your day, without changing anything in your regular routine. Yum!

$3 each
Glade products are just so top-notch for their price. They always come out with amazing holiday scents that really do fill up the whole room. If you enjoy wax melts, candles, wall-flowers, room mists, etc., they've got it all! Plus you can find them almost anywhere. They also have a great variety for whatever holiday-type scent you like: sweet, spicy, and fresh.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula 24 Hour Moisturizer
$6.59

I talked about my love for this in one of my very first posts, but it ESPECIALLY is amazing during this time one year. First of all, Cocoa butter, so it smells like chocolate... What better time of the year to smell like chocolate than the holidays? Second of all, this stuff is crazy moisturizing. It's thick and creamy and especially great for when your skin looks and feels drier. I couldn't recommend it more for the product itself and for the amazing price.

Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Fine Fragrance Mist
$6-$14 (size variation)

I think this is a wonderful holiday scent. It is on the sweet side, so if you don't like sweet scents, I'd stay away, but if you do like sweet scents you will be in love! It's a sugary vanilla scent but not sickly. I really enjoy wearing this from time to time, but I REALLY enjoy spraying in on my scarves so when I put them on, the scent lingers. It's a fun way to enjoy the scent without spraying it all over your body.

What's your favorite way to make the holidays feel a little more special?

xx Mollie
