30 Day Minimalism May Challenge

Alright everyone, I'm doing something totally different here, but I've been thinking about it for months and I think it will be awesome!

It's so easy to get all caught up with everything going on in life: work, friends, family, exercise, catching up, keeping up, etc.

I came across this minimalism challenge a few months ago and thought it would be amazing to try Minimalism May! I'm going to follow this calendar starting tomorrow until May 30th and blog about each days' experience.

Don't worry, my YouTube videos won't be going anywhere, but I think I want to incorporate this challenge somehow... i.e. minimal makeup, a minimal but delicious and filling meal (I'm of course open to any suggestions!)

I would love for everyone to follow along with me, so if you do, please use the hashtag #minimalismmay so we can all keep up together!

The rules of challenge are you cannot skip any day, but you CAN rearrange the challenge days as necessary.

Let's make life a little more simple and fun, as well as de-cluttered together!

    I found you from your blog comment at Late Afternoon! So I decided to check out your post!

    I love all of these ways to simplify life. The ones I already do are going fresh face (I think it is so European!), have a morning ritual (I have to cuz I would never get to work on time!), and not buy anything for 24 hours (very hard but have done many times!)….The one I would have the hardest time doing, which I don't believe I could do, is clean out my closet! It is so cluttered, I have no idea where to begin! Ha ha! Love the post, babe!

  4. not online for a day I can cope, but unfollow & unfriend? why? everything elses seems fine...

    1. The idea is to unfollow and unfriend people who you don't necessarily need to be following. Personally, there are several people from High school and college that I haven't talked to in years who pop up on my newsfeed that I don't really care to see. Or I follow many stores on Instagram that just feed my shopping addiction and I could probably benefit from unfollowing :) It's just another form of decluttering!

  8. Being able to do all of these little steps, I think, is a great way to destress and take inventory of life. It is so important not to get so caught up in the daily things and take time to remember what really matters the most to you. :)
