As the weather is getting cooler (and I'm getting more excited...) the air, and my skin, are getting a bit more dull and dry. Here are my favorite little things to keep my skin happy, and make me still feel human as the seasons change!
Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss
This is my go-to before bed lip treatment to combat the flakies I sometimes get in the cooler seasons. I use it only at night because it's white in color, but its so hydrating, thick, and it smells incredible. Sometimes it lasts so well that I even wake up with it still on my lips!
Weleda Skin Food
This all-purpose skin balm is incredible. It's completely natural, has a rosemary scent, and can be used anywhere where your skin feels extra dry or irritated. Sometimes I mix it with some all-natural skin oil and use it has my all-over skin moisturizer. I'm addicted to how amazing it is for being completely natural!
Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask
This is my go-to "my skin is freaking out and is so dry" weapon. It's amazingly hydrating and the best part is that it's completely clear.. so it looks like a normal moisturizer! I wake up with basically a new, plump face after using this bad boy. It's a MUST for those suffering with dry skin.
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
Bronzer is a MUST as the sun stops showing its face as frequently during this time of year. I love this one from Too Faced because it's not orange-y in the least, so it adds color and chisels my face (winter eating, anyone?) without being too obvious. Plus it smells like chocolate, which is incredible anyway, but especially as we approach the holidays.
Nars Liquid Illuminator in Copacabana
I know you've all seen me mention this a lot, but it really does do wonders for my face when it's looking dull. I just dab a little on the high point of my face (down the bridge of my nose, on top of my cheekbones, above my cupids bow, etc.) and it just makes me look more alive and less dull. The pink-y tone in this particular one makes it suit my skin year round, but especially when I have less color.
