New Year's Eve is upon us, & if you're going out on the town to ring in the new year, you may want to bring a few essentials with you. Here are my top 5 things that I suggest taking in your clutch:
Not only because it's winter so your lips already need an extra boost of moisture, but add in drinking and your lips may feel a little extra rough without it. Plus, feeling desperation for lip balm when you don't have it is the worst!
Loud music, tons of people, lots of drinking - just writing those things gives me a headache. This will come in handy either during the night, or for the next morning hangover. Be sure to take ibuprofen and not acetaminophen if you are drinking. The combination of acetaminophen products, such as Tylenol, with liquor can strip your liver. Make sure to opt for an ibuprofen product such as Advil if you plan on indulging in some beverages.
Not a necessity, but it is the perfect season to rock a red lip. Also, if all else fails, red lips can really help perk up your face and you may want an extra boost depending on where you plan on celebrating (i.e. a hot a sweaty club party).
Perfume Roller Ball
Another non-necessity, but it can be nice to be able to "freshen up" throughout the night, especially if you're in for a late night and running into large crowds. I suggest not going for anything too strong though, as to not offend the anyone with your scent.
Band - Aids
This is a MUST! New Years consists of lots of standing and potential walking (cabs & Ubers can be especially hard to come by on these kind of nights). Since I know most of you will be wearing heels, there is the potential threat of blisters, and that just is not what anyone wants to deal with. Bringing in a few band-aids can help with any shoe discomfort. Even if you don't need them, you may be a hero to someone who does!
I hope everyone has a fun & safe night. Happy New Year!
