All About Working Out

February 3, 2016
Working out is something that I have always enjoyed doing.. not necessarily while I am working out, but I always feel so much better when I have a regular routine. This most likely stems from staying active and playing several sports growing up.

Whether it's Pound Fit, playing Tennis, or going for a run, any form of exercise is guaranteed to help me feel my best. Since I am currently training for my 4th Half-Marathon, I am following this Hal Higdon training program, which I always find helpful.

On the road, I also try to pack my workout gear, but it can be hard to hit the gym while on vacation or a work trip (especially if you know your co-workers will also be in the gym). I like to do a couple of Tone It Up, Blogilates, or Yoga with Adrienne videos in my hotel room if that's the case.

As far as workout gear goes, although I do constantly crave adorable outfits from Lululemon, those are far out of my budget. I actually really love the workout gear from Old Navy.. they have some great & inexpensive finds that have held up well for months. If you are REALLY into cute workout gear, I highly recommend Fabletics. It is a monthly-payment site, but if you join, you get a full outfit (leggings, top, & bra for $25) and can cancel right after the first initial order.

What are your favorite workouts (& most importantly, workout clothes brands? :) )
