We spend 1/3 of our lives in bed, so hopefully during that time, you are getting plenty of rest for your health & sanity!
With Daylights Savings Time approaching, I have paired with Crane & Canopy, an adorable on luxury bedding website, to bring you some of my favorite tips to ensure an amazing beauty sleep!
If I want to achieve the absolute best beauty sleep that I can, I always make sure to have a cup of herbal non-caffeinated, Chamomile Tea before I head to bed. This Honey & Vanilla Chamomile tea from Celestial Seasonings is my favorite right now. It's soothing, delicious, and warm... & warm drinks always make me super sleepy.
Before my head hits my silk pillow, which is not only always cool & comfortable for sleeping, but helps prevent wrinkles & hair loss, I cannot sleep unless I am well moisturized. If my hands, lips, & feet feel dry, I will not have a restful sleep. Strange, I know, but it is one of those things I have become accustom to!
I like to use the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Body Lotion on my hands and feet, because it is crazy moisturizing and also smells like warm chocolate. Yum! For the lips, Nuxe Rieve de Miel Lip Balm has been my go-to since I grabbed it. It's by far the best lip balm I have EVER used.
This last step may not be for everyone, but it always works for me, and that is the use of lavender oil to ensure a good nights sleep. I dab a little on the bottoms of my feet, temples, and wipe the excess onto my pillow. The scent is so soothing, and this step is always the cherry-on-top of an amazing night's sleep for me!
