Glossier Beauty

March 24, 2016

Glossier skincare & beauty products have kind of taken over. At least it may seem that way. Glossier, the birth child of the popular beauty blog Into the Gloss, are products made to promote natural beauty. I picked up two skin items & two makeup items over the last few weeks, and have some thoughts and ratings. Some are good, some are not. Read on to see what worked for me!

Coconut Balm Dot Com 8/10

First, I've got to admit something to you guys, I am obsessed with lip balm. I have probably 20 different kinds of lip balm in various locations at any given time. I also have a thing for skin salves, so this is by far the best of both worlds! Can be used for the lips, for cuts or dry skin, ends of hair, etc. I especially love it for my lips, but also for the perfect, not too overpowering, coconut scent. The only thing I was surprised by was how much smaller the tube was in person.

Milky Jelly Cleanser 2/10

When I read about this cleanser, I thought it would be a variation on my OG cream cleanser, Pond's Cold Cream. It has the right idea, but for me personally, is lacking in strength. It removed my makeup pretty well, but still won't break down my waterproof mascara. Also, if I don't do a double cleanse (use the Milky Jelly to remove makeup, then follow up with another cleanser) then this stuff breaks me out majorly. Not really digging this at all, but I'm sure someone else will.

Generation G in Like 10/10

This is my dream situation right here. It's a balmy-sheer-matte lip color. Think "I just ate a popsicle & it stained my lips" vibes. I love the color selection, I love the perfect amount of color. I love the staying power. I love the hydration.
I. Love. This.

Stretch Concealer in Medium 9/10

Concealer junkies: get excited for something you have never seen before, a concealer that looks terrifyingly like your skin! This is definitely created for a super natural concealer look. It still has incredible coverage and moisture, so it works under the eyes and on discoloration. I got medium in anticipation for the summer, so it's a little dark on me, but I will go for this when not trying to achieve that Kardashian brightening effect under my eyes.

Have you tried any Glossier products? Or which are you most interested in?

xoxo Mollie
