Just Peachy

March 2, 2016

Finally, March is here! I know it's not official yet, but the way the weather has been where I am, it sure feels like Spring has sprung.

With the introduction of Spring brings the urge to break out all of the brightly-colored things. Every year, I have to hold myself back a bit when this initial urge strikes, mostly because, I am just not tan enough to rock anything neon just yet.

What's the best compromise when in this position? Peach, y'all. Peach. Peach is one of those colors that is flattering all year round, so it's great to bust it out in the beginning of Spring.

My go-to holy-grail blush is Nars Orgasm, which is just the best peachy-coral blush around. It's flattering on many different skin tones, and adds a beautiful highlighty-glow that stuns. It pairs well with that extra bronzer you may be sporting from feeling the warm vibes.

For a splash of fun-color, I especially enjoy wearing L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow in Amber Rush during this time of year. It's the perfect mix of being colorful and subtle. Plus the color is just gorgeous all-around.

It's a well-known fact that I dislike the color orange, but this Tarte Deco polishfrom Essie is the closest I will get. It's a great nod to the warmer weather without being in your face.

For lips, I have been absolutely loving NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beige. Don't be fooled by the name, it's not 'beige' at all, but a pinky coral with excellent pigment. It's also not sticky and smells just like strawberry Starburst. What's more delicious/springy than that?

Do you love Peach, or do you prefer another subtle splash of color to usher in Spring?

  1. This looks amazing :)
please follow my blog : YOUNG BLOG

  2. For spring I prefer pastel purples, blues, mints, etc just because peach looks strange with my skin tone, but with a tan it would look a lot nicer! I love the look of that eyeshadow x

  3. Love all of this and your blog!

  4. I swear by the NARS Orgasm blush in my kit, all of my clients love it, and it's a personal favourite of mine too! Thanks for sharing lovely!
