My Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

Here we go! Not only is it winter time, but it's also cold & flu season which calls for one thing and one thing only, chicken noodle soup.

I love chicken noodle soup, always have, always will, so I took to making my own recipe very seriously.

I've made this a couple of times and have always loved it. My boyfriend, who isn't a big chicken noodle soup fan, told me he actually loved it too (because it contains many noodles, apparently).

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup


6 skin-on Chicken Drumsticks
Tumeric powder
Ginger powder
Olive Oil
1 lemon
4 Garlic Cloves
1/4 cup of Chives
3 Celery Stalks
2 Large Carrots
1/2 box of Asian Rice Noodles


1. Fill a large pot with water

2. Place the drumsticks and 2 tablespoons of olive oil into the water

3. Add in 1/2 tsp of Ginger powder and 1 tsp of tumeric into the water

4. Bring water to a boil and let cook undisturbed for 45 minutes

5. Dice the carrots, chives and celery. Mix with garlic in separate bowl, and place the juice of a whole lemon on top

6. Place the bowl of vegetables, noodles, and salt and pepper (to taste) into boiling water and cook for an addition 20-30 minutes

7. Serve & enjoy!
