Pumpkin Swirl Brownies - Quick & Easy Thanksgiving Dessert!

November 20, 2018

It's Thanksgiving crunch time! While some of us out there are extremely prepared with all of our ingredients for what we are bringing to the table (literally) this year, some of us may be a little more last minute.

If this is you, never fear! I have an extremely fast and extremely delicious dessert that will make you look like a domestic goddess! It's a twist on a classic and incorporates pumpkin without tasting like the overly-sweet pumpkin spice latte (#blessed).
I present to you, Pumpkin Swirl Brownies! Alright I know you are in a rush here, so let's get to the good stuff.. the recipe!

Pumpkin Swirl Brownies

1 Box of your Favorite Brownie Mix
                  - not listed, but you should also have on hand whatever is needed to make the brownies
per the box mix, i.e. eggs, milk, etc.
1/2 a Can of Real Pumpkin
1 Block of Cream Cheese
3 Tablespoons of Powdered Sugar
1/2 Tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice

1. Preheat the oven and prepare the brownie mix, per the box's instructions.
2. Whip the cream cheese with a hand mixer
3. Add in the pumpkin to combine with the cream cheese
4. Add in the powdered sugar and Pumpkin Pie Spice and mix well
5. Grease or line a baking sheet and pour the batter onto the sheet
6. Place dollops of the pumpkin/cream cheese mixture evenly on top of the brownie mix
7. Using a fork, create the "swirls" by spreading the pumpkin mixture in with the top layer of
    brownie batter
8. After desired swirls, place brownies in the oven to cook for 25-30 minutes
9. Let cool for 30 minutes and serve and enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my readers out there. I am thankful for all of you!

xx Mollie
